EDMONDS ORTHOPEDIC CENTER

The Edmonds Orthopedic Center is located at 7320 216th Street SW in Edmonds WA, easily accessible from Interstate 5 (220th Street exit) and Route 99 in South Snohomish County. The Center is staffed with board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons with specific training and expertise in Sports Medicine; Arthroscopic and Minimally-Invasive Surgery; Joint Replacement (hip, knee); Shoulder Repair; Spine Surgery; Hand Surgery and Fracture Care. The Center includes an Orthopedic Clinic with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Physical Therapy (PT) services, and Hand Therapy; an Outpatient Surgery Center; and a Spine Program which includes Epidural Steroid Injections (ESIs) performed by a board-certified anesthesiologist and other non-narcotic approaches to Pain Management.

EDMONDS CENTER FOR OUTPATIENT SURGERY

The Outpatient Surgery Center is accredited by the American Association of Ambulatory Healthcare Centers (AAAHC), and is staffed to provide a wide range of outpatient surgical procedures. The Center operates 3 rooms fully equipped with state-of-the-art surgical equipment; and a procedure room with an imaging table and radiographic C-arm equipment for the ESI procedures. The Center is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) who have specific experience in providing both pre- and post-operative care in an outpatient setting. Anesthesia services are provided by board-certified physicians.

MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI) SERVICES

The Center is equipped with a state-of-the-art Open MRI unit that is designed to perform all types of orthopedic extremity MRI exams. The exams are performed by licensed radiologic technologists (RTs) with specific training on this MRI equipment. The MRI exams are interpreted by board-certified radiologists with expertise in digital image interpretation. The MRI schedule includes convenient, early-morning appointments.

PHYSICAL THERAPY (PT) AND HAND THERAPY SERVICES

The Center is staffed with Physical Therapists and Certified Hand Therapists who have specific training and expertise in orthopedic, spine and hand therapy procedures. The therapists work closely with the physicians to ensure that all patients receive both pre- and post-operative physical therapy as needed. The Physical Therapy gym includes a wide range of equipment and modalities for providing all types of orthopedic therapy services.
